STEAM Team

About the STEAM Team program

2 – 5 Grades

Make original and ancient inventions from scratch, and take them home. Like PBS TV Kids Show, this course is your chance to build and re-engineer everyday things and recycled stuff into cool science toys and games. You’ll build and take apart simple machines and gizmos.Three of the favorites are
  1. Expanding water polymers
  2. Micro-robots
  3. Hand crank generators that make electric circuits and send artistic designs flying
The Goal of STEAM Team.Along the way you will have fun learning about materials science (e.g. papyrus) and the physics of force, motion, and leverage (e.g. catapult),.Inevitably, your work will inspire investigations and experiments that use mathematics. Former students have made presentation at the Museum of Science on biomimicry, Mass Audubon, and the MIT Museum.
Lessons are held on: Friday 4:00 – 5:30 pm and 5:30pm -7:00pm. Wednesday 5:30pm – 7:00pm.Tuition Fees : $30 / 90 min lesson. Monthly fee is $120.The group: max 5-8 students.

We inspire your child to build on his/her natural curiosity by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on learning.MathPlus School helps to find new kids talents.Engineering is one of the exciting activities for kids. It teaches strategic thinking, logic and uses physics and math knowledge in practice and it’s also fun, too!

Thomas Edison developed many devices that greatly influenced life around the world, including the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and the long-lasting, practical electric light bulb.
